Welcome back to another installment of “Buff Basics!”
We welcome Buff Ambassador Ryan Sims back into the studio today to shoot maternity portraits, keeping emphasis on simplicity. In this episode, Ryan uses only a Celestial and a 86” Soft Silver PLM Umbrella to create the images below.
This lighting setup is optimal for anyone more familiar with natural light, as this particular modifier will provide similar light to an overcast day. It’s also perfect because the PLM is very affordable, and one light is the entire setup!
These results exemplify that sometimes less is more!
