First off, let’s set the scene… It was a frigid (19°) mid-March evening in Northwestern Montana. We had already blown our photoshoot deadline set for our upcoming FLAG NOR FAIL™ Rain Jacket.
It was now or never. Luckily, our in-house apparel model extraordinaire, Dana Linn Bailey, is as tough as they come. She was willing to endure being pelted with rain and ice for over an hour in below-freezing-temperatures, as long as we “got the shot”.
Not only did Dana endure the shoot, but our dual AlienBees™ B800 setup withstood the cold and moisture. To capture these shots, we used an AlienBees™ B800 with an 8.5” High Output Reflector backlighting the model and another AlienBees™ B800 with a 47” Foldable Octabox to light the model and product perfectly. Brrr….
