Kansas City based sports and senior portrait photographer, Mike Curtis, creates stunning images for the high school athletes that he focuses. Curtis shares some insight on how he made such a splash with this senior portrait.

“Propelling particles of water into a great composition takes several tries, and couldn’t be more excited about the final result. The goal of this image was to fill the frame with moving water and showcase this senior athlete and his physique. The light setup for this image consisted of a 35” Octabox on an AlienBees™ B800 overhead, and two Einstein™
flash units, with stripboxes, as kickers.  All powered by Vagabond Mini™ Lithiums.”
