Photographer Fielder William Strain shares insights on how he lit the interior of this high-end home located in Franklin, TN.
“With most of my Architectural and interior design shoots my goal is to render the space in a visually interesting way while maintaining the intent and design elements of the architect or designer,” said Strain. “With this and most spaces the first step is finding a composition that will lead the viewers eye through the frame. With all three shots I decided to compose a one-point perspective. The second step is to simplify by pairing down the elements in the frame or arranging things so that it is not too cluttered, and the viewer looks where you want.”
